The track “Overflowing” is my personal favorite. It’s got an ethereal chill vibe that makes my body feel warm every time I play it.

At first, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to take on this project because it seemed like a lot of work for me. But I decided to join because it’s always fun to work with Nsay ki la. As a featured and backup artist, the songs on the “Overflowing” EP required a lot of vocals and harmonies, and the project was very demanding. However, the end result has been so fulfilling that all the hard work has been worth it.

These soul-lifting worship songs will have a powerful impact on listeners, and I can’t wait for you to hear them and experience the comforting feeling they bring.

“Overflowing” features a diverse range of sounds and styles, from Kizomba and Makossa tracks to Ambient and Folk pieces. “TOGETHER” EP CELEBRATES RUBY JUBILEE OF KUMBO

Nsay ki la set to release music EP titled TOGETHER

Nsay ki la is set to release an EP titled “TOGETHER”. It is a six-track collection of songs to celebrate and animate the Ruby Jubilee of the Diocese of Kumbo. The project will officially be released on 2 December 2022.

Context

Pope St John Paul II  erected the Catholic Diocese of Kumbo in the Ecclesiastical Province of Bamenda, Cameroon on Thursday, 18 March 1982. The Ruby Jubilee celebration has been ongoing for a year. It has the theme “Together on Mission: ‘Go out to the whole world, proclaiming the Gospel to all Creation’ (Mark 16:15)”. The EP takes its name from the first word of the theme.

Purpose

The intention of the “TOGETHER” EP is to enliven the atmosphere, animate the theme of the jubilee and reflect on its importance, as well as cast a hopeful glance to the future as a build-up to the peak celebration in December 2022. Among the producers of the project are Marc Eff of Kovapot, Produced by Lu (formerly part of the Chinjong X Chinjong duo), Dijay Kay, and Nsay ki la himself.  Two of the tracks feature The Virtual Chorale.

Nsay ki la SET TO RELEASE “KILEEME”

KILEEMI is the type of music you can’t get enough of; the type that makes you dance and smile even when you don’t feel like it. The song carries such a wonderful message. I personally think the artist and producer are such a perfect blend.

The new song is a fusion of Mbakelum (Mankon folk, Cameroon) with Amapiano (South Africa). The feeling it gives is pleasant, and the rhythm provokes the urge to dance.
