This song was done as the Anglophone Crisis in Cameroon gradually escalated since the close of 2016. Lives were being wasted, families were defragmenting, communities were breaking down, and many people losing their livelihood. The names of places mentioned towards the close of the song were those heavily affected by then. It only got worse.
